Join us on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. EST for Champagne for Caesar (1950).
Champagne for Caesar is a rollicking comedy (with a little romance thrown in) that pokes gentle fun at the TV quiz show phenomenon that transfixed the nation after WWII.
Directed by Richard Whorf and starring Ronald Colman, Celeste Holm, Vincent Price, and the voice of Mel Blanc, it’s an absolute delight and a seldom-seen treasure, possibly because of the unfortunate title.
Register for the event We’ll all enjoy an intro beforehand and some trivia afterwards, so let’s have a fun evening of great vintage cinema amongst friends!
I was unable to watch the March 26 presentation. On Saturday I received emails inviting me to log in but everything I tried failed. “Not Available”.
You may keep the $20 I donated. My gift.
