The 18th annual European Union Film Festival is back with in person screenings beginning November 17th. The line-up features 27 films from 27 EU countries, including panels, special presentations, and live guests Q&A.
This year, we are thrilled to co-present the absorbing Czech bio drama, HAVEL which will be opening the festival on November 17th at 6pm and available online from November 18th to 19th.
About the film: Spanning over two decades, HAVEL is an absorbing biopic chronicling the life of Václav Havel, as he evolves from humble playwright shaken by the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968, to revolutionary leader, political prisoner, and eventually the new president of the Czech Republic following the Velvet Revolution in 1989.
As always, admission to the festival is free but you can reserve your seats in advance to avoid the line-up here: https://euffto.com/buy-tickets/. See you at the movies!
THE FESTIVAL CONTINUES UNTIL DECEMBER 2nd, SO YOU CAN USE THE LINK ABOVE TO SEE WHAT OTHER FILMS ARE BEING SHOWN AND MAKE YOUR PURCHASE.
