About TFS

Founded in 1948, the Toronto Film Society is one of Canada’s oldest film appreciation groups. It was originally formed to meet the demand for Canadian and international forgotten, banned, independent, and fringe sound and silent films, and to support their preservation and restoration.

TFS is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to the study and appreciation of the artistic and social significance of cinema within its historical context.

Our expertly-curated films (from 1890-1980, of various genres) are shown as they were meant to be enjoyed, on the big screen with an audience. Some are rare, archival prints not easily obtained by the general public.

Our extraordinary series, festivals, and events engage diverse cinephiles of all ages from Toronto and beyond.

Door Prize

Sponsoring the Door Prize at one or multiple screenings will get you the following:

• Display of prize with associated material prior to screening
• Acknowledgement in:
  • Film introduction

Per Screening

Sponsoring one or multiple screenings will get you the following:

• Pre-show ad (static, approx. 10 second appearance)
• Two admission tickets to the screening
• Logo (small) in film notes
• Logo (small) in email blasts to the TFS email list leading up to the screening
• Acknowledgement in:
  • Film introduction

$1,700 per screening

Season

Sponsoring the entire 26/27 season will get you the following:

• Pre-show ad (static, approx. 10 second appearance)
• Two admission tickets to each screening
• Logo (small) in all film notes
• Logo (small) in email blasts to the TFS email list leading up to all screenings
• Acknowledgement in:
  • Film introduction

$15,000 for the season OR
$30,000 for exclusive sponsorship for the season
