The Deadlier Sex (1920)

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has extended an invitation to the community members of Toronto Film Society to join them this Sunday, July 26th at 1:00 p.m. EST for the 33rd Annual Silents Under the Stars event!

This year’s Silents Under the Stars has gone virtual. They will be streaming The Deadlier Sex (1920) and Life in Hollywood (1927).  Hosted by the Academy’s Randy Haberkamp, Chair of the Silent Society, the event will feature special guests Sara Karloff (daughter of Boris Karloff), preservationist Serge Bromberg, and Richard Atkins (President of Hollywood Heritage), with original music composed and performed by Michael D. Mortilla.
