Series 1, October 1948 – May 1949
The Toronto Film Society, still know as The Toronto Film Study Group, launched it’s first screening series in Toronto on October 25, 1948. Over the course of 8 showings spanning from October to May of 1949, TFSG presented thoughtful programming at The Royal Ontario Museum Theatre to great success. Below is the complete list of films shown in Season 1, along with the original film notes provided to attending members.
