None Shall Escape (1944)

Come join Toronto Film Society for the co-presentation screening with Toronto Jewish Film Society of the film None Shall Escape (1944)!  This event will occur on February 26th at the Al Green Theatre at the Miles Nadal JCC, 750 Spadina Avenue, Toronto (at Bloor).  There will be two screenings, 4:00 and 7:30 p.m. and the price of admission is $15 or $10 for Young Adults (18-35 yrs).  Guest Speaker, Professor Ron Levi, will introduce the film.  Rush Seats go on sale one hour before each screening.  Restricted to 18 years and older.

Produced and released before the end of WWII, this film prophetically foreshadowed the war crimes tribunals that would soon follow.  Told through the lens of the trial of a Nazi officer and his impact on the life of a small Polish village, this film is daring, often powerful, and a definite must-see.
